Operating on New Server

We are now running on our new home. Ther forum is back online and should be operational. Everyones logins should work, if you run into any problems please send us an email and we will try to get it fixed as quickly as possible.The download area is still incomplete. We are in the process of uploading the charts, all 1.9 GB of them.

In the next few months we willl make an announcement about the charts available from this site..

Moving to New Host!

In the next month we will be moving to a new host with more bandwith and faster access to downloads. Once this transition begins the site may be down for a couple of days while the DNS servers update. This change will also affect the barcosoft.com site as it will be moving to the same host.

NOAA RNC Downloads

We have removed the large single file containing all RNCs and have replaced it with individual region files.

This will allow you the ability to download only those regions that you need for your sailing area. Each region file also contains the NOAA RNC license file. By downloading the RNCs you are agreeing to the terms of the NOAA license.

RPM Package now available for SeaFarer Free Edition 1.9.3

We are pleased to announce the availability of a RPM for the 1.9.3 version of SeaFarer Free Edition.. The link has been fixed.

NOAA Official RNCs

We are pleased to announce that we are making NOAA RNCs available for download again. Currently there is one file that contains all of the Official NOAA RNCs broken down by region. We hope to make available in the near future downloads for individual regions.

SeaFarer Free Edition 1.9.3 Now Available

We are happy to announce the release of SeaFarer Free Edition 1.9.3.

This new version has several bug fixes:
   The "Red Lines" issue has been corrected.
   The "Cursor Bearing" field in the status bar now tells you which way the bearing is calculated.
   You can set this in the settings window.

There are some additional fixes and changes to allow users to run both the Retail version and the free version on the same system.

SeaFarer Free Edition 1.9.2 Now Available

We are pleased to announce the 1.9.2 release of SeaFarer Free Edition.

This version has many fixes and a few new features. It is now possible to double click on a target in the AIS view table and open a new window with additional information.

This new version is available in the downloads area.

SeaFarer Free Edition 1.9.1 Now Available

We are happy to announce that a new version of the free edition of SeaFarer is now available for download.

This version corrects some font display issues and a NMEA processing issue on the XO laptop.

We are pleased to announce that the free version of SeaFarer 1.9.0 is now available for download. This new version has many new features. This new version is available for Debian based systems.

We hope to have a version for RPM based systems available shortly.
